Hello, I’m Jeff Reed. I have been fishing since a young boy of 7 on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. At age 12, my family moved to Chattanooga, TN and I have fished almost all rivers and lakes within a day’s drive for over 35 years now.

An avid fisherman, I started Chattanooga Fishing Guides a little over 7 years ago. I could not think of a better business for me to be able to work day in and day out at a job I love. Specializing in trophy smallmouth, trout and all other game fish, I can also help you with fly rod casting and spinning.

I have appeared on Stihl’s Reel in the Outdoors with Joe Thomas, Grant’s Outdoor Expeditions and Benny Hull’s Stump Bumper Outdoors. I have also presented classes at Sportsman’s Warehouse, Fish ‘n Fun and Nutter Rod and Reel.

I am highly trained in GPS and depth finders, specializing in Humminbird’s Side Imaging and Lorance. I also do installations, troubleshooting programs and give training on equipment.

My goal for my clients is to further enjoy the sport of fishing, learn new techniques in fishing styles, and possibly create an experience to last a lifetime.
